Linus Öberg is reportedly set to join a club in Finland next season, according to reports from Expressen. The 25-year-old forward, who currently plays for Malmö Redhawks in the SHL, has had his contract expire after this season. Öberg has been a prominent player for Malmö in the playoffs, scoring goals in the quarterfinals against Skellefteå AIK, though Malmö ultimately fell in the series.
He has not confirmed any move, stating he is open to all options and has nothing signed. Öberg previously played for Örebro and Frölunda before joining Malmö last year.
