Liberalerna has proposed mandatory help classes for disruptive students in every school, according to party leader Simona Mohamsson. Mohamsson said Sweden is in the bottom league of the EU regarding classroom discipline. The proposal is not new; a similar idea was presented a year ago.

The reform is estimated to cost 2 billion SEK, with Mohamsson wanting municipalities to cover the cost themselves, citing a 32 billion SEK surplus. However, Mohamsson does not rule out state compensation if needed. Liberalerna also proposes 'lagom' class sizes, previously mentioning 25 students as a cap.

Mohamsson promises to eliminate 'glädjebetyg' (grade inflation) and increase books in school libraries. The proposal aims to improve the learning environment for all students by addressing disruptive behavior. Mohamsson emphasized that the mandatory help classes would provide targeted support to students who need it, while also allowing teachers to focus on teaching.

The party believes that smaller class sizes and fair grading will further enhance educational quality. The cost of 2 billion SEK is seen as an investment in the future of Swedish education.
