Leksand was relegated following a 4-0 series loss to HV71 in the qualifiers, meaning it will play in HockeyAllsvenskan next season. According to reports, some players have already secured moves: Anton Johansson has left for the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins and is expected to move to North America permanently next season, Filip Larsson is reportedly heading to Örebro, and Stefan Milosevic is reportedly set to join Frölunda. Joonas Lyytinen is reportedly returning to Finland, while the futures of Peter Cehlárik and Gabriel Fortier remain unclear.
