The Premiership resumed after a hiatus since January 24, which was overshadowed by the Six Nations, according to sources. Leicester Tigers beat Bristol Bears 33-19 in a Premiership match. Gabriel Hamer-Webb scored a last-gasp try for Leicester, securing a four-try bonus point.

Leicester's coach Geoff Parling wanted Freddie Steward to kick the ball off at the end, but the players instead backed themselves to score. Parling said the players feel free to express themselves and their game is evolving, adding he has been trying for a long time to get them to play what they see and that's what they did.
