An avalanche struck the popular Norwegian ski resort of Hemsedal on Monday morning, sweeping four people off their feet. According to Norwegian public broadcaster NRK, all four individuals have been located and are receiving life-saving medical care at the scene. The rescue service received the alarm on Monday morning and launched a search operation involving helicopters.
After approximately one hour, all four people were found. Rescue authorities report that there is currently no information suggesting additional people are missing. An orange avalanche warning has been issued for the area, indicating significant danger levels.
