A truck carrying twelve tons of wafer chocolate has been hijacked by thieves, according to food giant Nestlé. The company states that the truck was transporting 413,793 KitKat bars. The theft occurred last week somewhere on the route between Italy and Poland, where the chocolate was being transported for further distribution.
Nestlé warns that the theft could lead to shortages of KitKat on store shelves during Easter.
