Lars Molin, a respected docent and former chief physician at Hudkliniken (Dermatology Clinic) at Örebro University Hospital (USÖ), has died at the age of 92, according to an obituary published in Nerikes Allehanda. The Örebro native, who passed away recently, leaves behind his children Anna-Karin, Lotta, and Anders along with their families, as well as an extensive network of friends and colleagues. Molin grew up in Örebro where he completed his secondary education at Karolinska läroverket in 1952.

That same year, he began his medical studies at Uppsala University, where he served as an assistant at the medical chemistry department in 1954 and the physiology department from 1957 to 1958. He earned his medical licentiate degree in 1961 and received his medical license the same year. His career at Hudkliniken USÖ spanned many years, where he served as chief physician and contributed to dermatological medicine in the region.
