Despite semi-retirement, Lamb said he has two acting jobs this year and is not stopping entirely.
However, he has ruled out returning to Gavin & Stacey or its spin-off, noting that the 2024 Christmas finale was billed as the series' end. He also declined an offer for I'm A Celebrity: South Africa, dashing fan hopes for the show's revival. According to the Daily Mail, Lamb said that a spin-off would have happened already, as creators James Corden and Ruth Jones have busy lives and coordinating schedules would take years.
