The 18-year-old scored three of Barcelona's four goals, including a goal in the 37th minute where he dribbled past defenders before scoring. He was substituted in the 73rd minute for Swedish player Roony Bardghji, and Robert Lewandowski completed the final score.
According to Opta, Yamal is the youngest player in the 21st century to score a hat-trick in La Liga. Barcelona now leads second-place Real Madrid by four points with one more match played.
