A woman in her 20s suspected of planning to murder a person in Karlshamn, Sweden, has been released after a month in custody. The woman was arrested in early February when police received information that she was on her way to carry out a murder in Karlshamn municipality. She has been in custody since then but was released following a decision by the prosecutor.
The prosecutor stated that the suspicions remain and the investigation continues. The woman was previously convicted of unlawful threats for sending text messages to a police officer threatening to blow up a police station and shoot police officers. Blekinge District Court sentenced her to supervised probation in November last year.
