A woman has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault in an apartment on Skallberget in Västerås. Police were alerted to an address in the area on Wednesday afternoon due to a serious crime. At the scene, a man was found injured and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police spokesperson Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro said the incident occurred inside an apartment that is now cordoned off, and a technical investigation will be conducted. According to Region Västmanland, the man is slightly injured but will remain under observation. The woman was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, and police are conducting interviews and have sealed off the suspected crime scene.
