Kumla municipality has filed a police report and initiated labor law proceedings following allegations that students at Komvux Kumla were used to work on a teacher's private house as part of their education. The case came to light through an anonymous report to the municipality's whistleblower function in spring 2025, according to public broadcaster SVT Örebro.
An external investigator has examined the matter, and the municipality has taken action to review its procedures. Municipal director Anne-Lie Carlos Jeansson stated, "We take seriously what has happened and have taken measures to review our routines, to prevent anything similar from happening again."
