A male politician in Klippan, Sweden, stands accused of sending sexual images and videos to a female colleague over a two-year period, according to court proceedings reported by SVT Nyheter. The alleged incidents occurred between 2020 and 2022, with some images reportedly sent during political meetings.
Prosecutor Joel Malmkvist, a chamber prosecutor at Helsingborg District Court, stated that the accused man claims the images were sent with consent. "He means that they have been sent with consent," said Malmkvist. The man faces charges for sending five images and videos, though the female politician claims this represents only a small portion of what she received.

According to the prosecutor, the conversations between the two alternated between everyday discussions, political matters, and pornographic content. Many of the alleged images have reportedly expired due to statute of limitations because of the delay in reporting.
