Model railway enthusiasts in Katrineholm, Sweden, are recreating a train station as it looked in the 1970s. They work with computers and tablets to manage the layout. Many meters of track are laid out in the association's premises in central Katrineholm, where members of the Katrineholm Model Railway Association gather every week.

According to chairman Sören Eriksson, the installation is the second largest in the county, after a build in Eskilstuna. Local historical buildings such as the post office, the railway restaurant, and the goods warehouse have been scaled and carved out in minute detail. Eriksson says the focus is perhaps more on the models and the landscape than the railway itself to achieve this.
