Karlskrona hockey club, KHK, will play in the first quarterfinals of the Hockeyettan Södra playoffs next week. The club won the regular season in Hockeyettan Södra and advanced directly to the quarterfinals. Head coach Peter Johansson said the competition is tight with eight teams in the south going to the quarterfinals and expressed belief in reaching the final.
Forward Liam Engström, who scored 23 goals this season, said he will try to find calm and take it day by day. The quarterfinal series starts at home for KHK on March 11 and 12. Their opponent will be determined on Sunday, March 8.
