Karlskoga defeated Södertälje 2-1 in the final match of the HockeyAllsvenskan regular season. The game took place at Scaniarinken. Karlskoga came from behind to secure the victory despite receiving two match penalties.
The first penalty occurred when Åke Stakkstad hit Sebastian Dyk in the face with his stick after missing the puck. The second penalty was for Viktor Lang tackling William Eriksson in the back, leaving Eriksson on the ice before he left under his own power. Karlskoga finished third in the standings behind Björklöven in first and Kalmar in second.
Södertälje ended seventh and will play in the eighth-finals, while Västerås finished second-last and Troja/Ljungby last, both entering the play-out round.
