Joseph Baena has won first place in the Men's Open Bodybuilding Heavy Weight Class at the NPC Natural Colorado State Championships and celebrated his victory on Instagram. The competition date and total number of competitors in his categories have not been disclosed. Baena shared photos of himself training with his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, before the competition.
He is the son of Schwarzenegger and his former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena, with Schwarzenegger admitting to his then-wife, Maria Shriver, that he fathered a child through an adulterous affair. Baena has drawn inspiration from Schwarzenegger in his bodybuilding career. On social media, Baena posted to mark his win.

Beyond bodybuilding, Baena has pursued an acting career, starring in the film 'Gunner' alongside Liam Hemsworth and Morgan Freeman. Schwarzenegger advised him that the key to success in Hollywood is hard work, doing the reps, doing the practice, and always preparing.
