Jonathan Andersson, 32, is reportedly set to return to Sweden and play for Kalmar HC in Hockeyallsvenskan next season. According to unconfirmed reports from Barometern, he has signed with Kalmar and will be presented this summer. Andersson has 440 SHL matches on his record with teams including Färjestad, AIK, Örebro, and Luleå, and has played for Tre Kronor.
His last SHL season was 2024/25 with Färjestad, and he recently completed 67 matches for Tappara. This would mark his first Hockeyallsvenskan season in ten years.
