Rahele Razazy, an Iranian artist who fled to Sweden 14 years ago, has expressed her desire to return to Iran to complete her final painting that was left unfinished when she escaped the country. According to Swedish public broadcaster SVT Örebro, Razazy was an artist in Iran but has not painted or visited her homeland since her family fled to Sweden over a decade ago. Her last artwork remained incomplete when she was forced to leave.

"When things have calmed down in Iran, I will go there and finish my painting," Razazy said. The artist explained that her entire family fled to Sweden 14 years ago, and she was unable to bring her artworks with her. Some paintings were later sent to her by her mother after removing them from their frames, but many remain with relatives in Iran.

Razazy cited the challenges of adapting to a new life in Sweden as the reason she stopped painting. "Now we had to rethink and start supporting ourselves, it wasn't the same anymore," she said. She described painting as her only hobby from her homeland and occasionally looks at her works thinking she should start painting again, but feels her current thoughts and circumstances prevent her from doing so.

Despite the challenges, Razazy maintains hope that she and her family will be able to return to their homeland someday.
