  • Gabrielle Carrington charged with murder after Soho crash
  • Victim Klaudia Zakrzewska died on April 25
  • Security guard Anoush Chyche suffered life-changing injuries

Gabrielle Carrington, a 32-year-old social media influencer who was a finalist on The X Factor in 2013, has been charged with murder following a crash outside the Inca nightclub in Argyll Street, Soho, at around 4:30am on Sunday, April 19. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Carrington, known online as RIELLEUK, faces additional charges of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving. The attempted murder charge relates to Klaudia Zakrzewska, who initially survived but later died on Saturday, April 25, according to multiple reports. The GBH charge concerns security worker Anoush Chyche, 59, who suffered serious lacerations to his leg requiring a skin graft, and the ABH charge relates to Latisha Armstrong, a third woman who sustained minor wrist injuries.

According to the prosecutor, Rizwan Amin, CCTV footage showed Carrington arriving in her car, having an altercation with a male, then re-entering the vehicle and mounting the pavement, striking Zakrzewska. A video reportedly shows Carrington arguing and clashing with Zakrzewska before getting into a black Mercedes and hitting her, with the vehicle reversing over Zakrzewska, who was left lying still on the ground. The argument is believed to have started inside the nightclub and later moved outside. Anoush Chyche, from north London, suffered serious lacerations to his leg requiring a skin graft; a friend said he had no broken bones but is expected to be off work for six months. A man in his 50s, who was unlocking an e-scooter nearby, also suffered serious, life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, while a woman in her 30s had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Carrington appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody, according to multiple reports. Prosecutor Rizwan Amin stated that there was an ongoing dispute between the parties and they are known to each other. Police have not confirmed her condition beyond saying she is in a critical state, and authorities believe Carrington was the one driving the car seen in the video. The court proceedings are ongoing, and Carrington has not yet entered a plea.

Alixson Foxwell, Detective Chief Inspector

Klaudia Zakrzewska, known online as Klaudiaglam, had around 260,000 followers on social media. According to her mother, doctors did not believe she would survive. Zakrzewska's age has been reported as both 30 and 32 in different sources, reflecting a minor inconsistency. The victim's family has not made further public statements.

Carrington has a public social media presence where she often shares posts about luxury travel and designer items. In a post from April 7, Carrington is seen standing next to a black Mercedes similar to the one involved in the crash, holding a Chanel handbag. Her X Factor background has drawn additional media attention to the case.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward. Detective Chief Inspector Alixson Foxwell urged witnesses to come forward, stating, "We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or has any information that could assist our investigation." The investigation continues, with many details still unknown, including the nature of the dispute between Carrington and Zakrzewska, whether the incident was intentional or accidental, and the current condition of the security guard and third victim.
