Ida Dahl has announced her retirement from elite sports after the Ski Classics finale in Bardufoss, Norway. The 30-year-old, who won the overall Ski Classics title in 2023, made the announcement on Instagram. She wrote that she is grateful for her skiing career, which included 11 stage wins.

Dahl missed the entire previous season due to exhaustion but made a comeback in December last year. Ahead of the final weekend, she is 63rd in the overall standings. Her team, Team Engcon, leads the team competition.

The final event is a 60-kilometer race on Sunday.
