Jacqueline Edwards, 67, from Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, is the grandmother of Ian Huntley's daughter. She introduced Huntley to her daughter Katie Bryan when Katie was 15 years old. Huntley and Bryan had a daughter named Samantha, who is now 27 years old.

Sources report that Huntley raped and abused Katie Bryan, and he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl known to their family. He also threw Katie Bryan down the stairs while she was pregnant with their daughter Samantha. Jacqueline Edwards had a confrontation with Huntley where he threatened to kill her.

"' Years before the Soham murders, Jacqueline Edwards alerted police after Katie fled to live with Huntley, but Huntley deceived them by claiming she had escaped an unhappy home, leaving officers unable to intervene. Following Huntley's death, Jacqueline Edwards described him as 'pure evil'. ' She expressed a desire to stand outside Huntley's funeral holding a placard that says 'burn in hell'.

Jacqueline Edwards suspects Huntley will be disposed of in secret with no one knowing. She believes that if Huntley had ever gotten parole, he would have struck again. The exact cause and circumstances of Huntley's death on March 7 have not been disclosed.

It is also unknown when and where his funeral will be held, or if it will be public or private.
