Ia Genberg nominated for International Booker Prize

Ia Genberg is the only Swedish author among the 13 writers nominated for the International Booker Prize, one of Britain's finest literary awards. She is nominated for her short story collection "Klen tröst," which was published in Sweden in 2018 but has now been published in English following the international success of her novel "Detaljerna." Genberg was previously nominated for the International Booker Prize two years ago for "Detaljerna." The International Booker Prize is considered the world's finest literary award for translated literature. The list of 13 nominees will be narrowed to six candidates, to be presented on March 31, with the prize ceremony taking place in London on May 19.
