A host of former famous campers are returning to the jungle for the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. Actor Adam Thomas, singer Sinitta, and comedian Seann Walsh are among the celebrities venturing into the jungle for the new series.
Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, soap icon Bev Callard, Olympian Mo Farah, and Boxer David Haye will also participate, presented by Ant and Dec. Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt, who triumphed in 2016 and was crowned Queen of the Jungle, is also returning, as are Craig Charles, Gemma Collins, Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp. The spin-off series welcomes back familiar faces to the jungle.
It commenced in 2023, with Myleene Klass emerging as the winner of that series. ITV has hinted that the upcoming season will be 'on a whole new level', featuring trials that will be 'tougher than ever'. 'With relentless twists and turns, the campmates will never know what's coming next,' the broadcaster teased.
It's also speculated that the series will introduce some latecomers, as is typically the case, although those names have yet to be disclosed. The participating celebrities have already experienced life in the Australian jungle, with the exceptions of Olympian Mo and Corrie star Bev. They participated during the coronavirus pandemic, when the show relocated to Gwrych Castle in Wales.
A teaser for the spin-off recently depicted the hosts seated by a flickering campfire, when Ant was startled by a sudden, eerie noise. ' Dec's comment sent Ant leaping from his seat with an alarmed cry of 'A big cat?! ' with Dec swiftly following.
The exact start date or airing schedule for the new series remains unknown.
