Vice chairman Stefan Axelsson will temporarily lead the club's work. Isaksson had been chairman for two years. The club recently avoided relegation from the SHL by winning a playoff series against Leksand.

According to reports, some in the organization have called for changes to reverse a negative trend. A plan for selecting a new chairman and board member will be developed in consultation with the nomination committee.
