The Architecture Uprising, a non-profit member organization, annually selects Sweden's ugliest and most beautiful new constructions. This year, the hotel Willow overwhelmingly won first place as Sweden's ugliest new construction in 2026, with the organization having awarded the ironic Kasper Kalkon Prize in eleven rounds. The hotel Willow in Trelleborg won with 68 percent of the votes.
