Christian Horner, who was dismissed by Red Bull last year, attended the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez, according to multiple reports. He has been linked with positions at Aston Martin and Alpine, though Toto Wolff suggested his return to F1 could be difficult because he has 'broken a lot of glass'. Horner said he attended the race to explore other forms of motorsport while he has time, adding that he is a big fan of MotoGP and wanted to see how the championship has evolved under Liberty Media, which also owns F1.
During the event, Horner spent time in the factory Honda garage and spoke with Honda Racing Corporation CEO Koji Watanabe, as well as key figures at Ducati. Honda supplied Red Bull's engines during Max Verstappen's four successive drivers' championships. Meanwhile, Wolff and Mercedes are reportedly exploring buying a 24% stake in Alpine from Otro Capital, a move that could complicate Horner's potential investment in the team.
