The long-running British soap opera Hollyoaks is introducing a new family to its Chester village setting. Singer Sam Meyer, a contestant on Netflix's 'Simon Cowell: The Next Act' who did not make the band December 10, has been cast in Channel 4's soap opera 'Hollyoaks' as part of a new family called the Keanes. The Keanes family will move into the Chester village in Spring 2024.
The Keanes family has a hidden connection to an existing Hollyoaks family. Other actors joining the cast include Matthew Wolfenden (formerly of 'Emmerdale'), Rebecca Ryan (formerly of 'Coronation Street'), and Lewis Walton (formerly of 'Coronation Street'), all as part of the Keanes family. Sam Meyer described his character as 'cool' with 'golden retriever-like energy,' fashion-loving, and smart.
