Luleå Hockey starts the season with two home matches: against Rögle in the premiere and then Frölunda, according to the team's schedule. The first derby is played away on September 29, and the first meeting with newcomers Björklöven is on October 29 in Coop Norrbotten Arena, as announced by the club. The season opener on September 19 marks the beginning of a 364-match schedule that concludes on March 16, per the league's official calendar.

Haparandavägen is closed for through traffic between Porsön and Björsbyn from May 18 to July 10, according to Luleå kommun. The municipality is improving the standard for heavier traffic along a section of the road, as stated in their public notice. Additionally, waste sorting stations are being updated and moved to Hermelinsparken, Stadsparken, and Gülzauudden, per municipal announcements.

Luleå is known as the city of hamburgers, with Frasses, Max, Korvgubben, and Bastard Burgers founded there, according to local food guides. The university campus is located on Porsön, 5 km outside the city center, and is 10-25 minutes away by bus, as noted on the university's website.

Outdoor activities include the Solanderleden hiking trail, 22 miles long from Kallax to Jävre, according to trail maps. Ski slopes are available at Måttsundsbacken, Storklinten, Kåbdalis, and Svanstein, per local tourism information. A snowmobile tour takes participants through the forest and onto the ice, as described by tour operators.

Visitors can enjoy well-prepared food and drink by a warm fireplace in a unique barn environment, according to local experience providers. Snowshoe hiking in the winter landscape around Mörön is available, and participants can learn about wildlife, winter environment, making fire, and building bivouacs, per activity organizers. A Sami experience provides insight into living with reindeer year-round and the Sami annual cycle, as offered by cultural guides.

For family and group entertainment, bubble football is available for children's parties, corporate events, and hen/stag parties, according to local entertainment companies. A bouncy castle is suitable for children aged 3-10 for parties at home, as advertised by rental services.
