Hermione Norris has suffered from long Covid, a condition where symptoms of Covid-19 last longer than 12 weeks. According to Daily Mirror - 3am Showbiz, Norris described having long Covid a few years ago and worrying about her physical fitness, but she also noted she uses an infrared sauna for her autoimmune condition and gets really stiff joints. The specific autoimmune condition she has and when exactly she contracted long Covid remain unknown, as do the medical treatments she received and how long her symptoms lasted.

Norris feels like a different person from who she was in her 40s, mentally and physically, in a good way. According to Daily Mirror - 3am Showbiz, she described being fine during the pilgrimage walks and pleasantly surprised by her endurance, and she has noticed significant changes since going through menopause. She is one of seven celebrities who embarked on a pilgrimage through north-east England to Lindisfarne for the BBC series Pilgrimage: The Road To Holy Island, joined by stars including Ashley Banjo, Patsy Kensit, and Tasha Ghouri.
