Hermione Norris has set the record straight about rumors of a Cold Feet revival, with multiple reports indicating she says the cast is unlikely to confirm any reunion plans in the near future. According to Metro - Main, Hermione Norris described that news of a possible Christmas reboot is 'news to me' and that nobody told her. Cold Feet first aired from 1997 to 2003 and was revived in 2016 with most of the original stars.

Creator Mike Bullen and the main cast confirmed the show went on a prolonged hiatus after series 9, and it was concluded that the programme should be 'rested for the foreseeable future' after the revival. The co-stars of Cold Feet are still in contact, and there is often speculation online about a revisit of Cold Feet. According to Metro - Main, Hermione Norris described that she saw Fay Ripley at a friend's wedding, who was the producer of Cold Feet first time round.

We're all in a WhatsApp group. Fay [Ripley], I check in with quite a bit. All of us check in, really.

The plot of Cold Feet followed three couples and the ups and downs of their relationships, with the Giffords divorcing, Pete marrying Jo Ellison, and Karen and David separating and recoupling with other characters. In the subsequent revival, new actors joined to play the stars' children and partners. There has always been the view that a return will happen when the characters have reached the next suitable age for more stories.

Hermione Norris appeared in every episode of Cold Feet and was nominated for a British Comedy Award in 2001. She has also starred in four series of BBC's spy drama Spooks, three seasons of Kingdom, and played Stella Isen in sci-fi drama Ou.

There is often – you know, at the moment there seems to be something [online] that there is going to be a revisit of it. It's kind of, 'Is this real? What's going on?!' Because we would be the last people to ever know about it.

I also saw Fay at a friend of ours' wedding. [They] were the producer of Cold Feet first time round. So yeah, we're in each other's lives.

News to me! Nobody told me. That is when we'll connect. 'Have you seen this? Have you heard this?'
