Lilla Verket, a craft cafe and bakery located on Drottninggatan in Växjö, has been forced to close its doors after operating for just seven months, according to a report from Smålandsposten. The business, which opened in September of last year, was founded by Erica Sögård Petersson and Preslav Nikolov with a focus on quality craftsmanship and innovative service concepts. The closure comes as the owners reportedly determined that the economic situation was unsustainable for continued operations.
