Hanna Thuvik has returned to Gävle to finish the season with Brynäs after signing a new one-year contract. Thuvik, a forward for Brynäs, reportedly said there is a goal to play in the PWHL at some point but wants to continue developing in Sweden for another year. According to reports, Thuvik and Sweden were very close to a bronze medal in the Olympics but lost in overtime to Switzerland.
