Hammarby IF is reportedly close to signing Victor Lind from IF Brommapojkarna in a transfer worth 28 million kronor, according to unconfirmed reports. The deal would make it the most expensive transfer ever between two Swedish clubs. Hammarby has been seeking a replacement for Adrian Lahdo, who was sold to Italian club Como for 127 million kronor plus bonuses earlier this year.

Lind scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 27 Allsvenskan matches for Brommapojkarna last year. His former club FC Midtjylland reportedly has a right to 40 percent of the transfer fee. The previous record for a transfer between Swedish clubs was set when Zeidane Inoussa was sold to BK Häcken for around 18 million kronor.
