Halmstad BK has reportedly reached an agreement with Famalicão to sign offensive midfielder Otso Liimatta, according to unconfirmed reports. The 21-year-old Finnish player is expected to undergo a medical examination shortly, and if he passes, he will sign with the Swedish club. Liimatta previously played for IFK Värnamo on loan from Famalicão, where he scored three goals and provided two assists in 13 Allsvenskan matches last fall.
Halmstad BK has been in negotiations for the player for some time, as part of their team-building efforts for the upcoming season.
