Marius Borg Høiby is charged with abuse in close relationships against Nora Haukland, which he denies. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Haukland and Høiby told very different versions of their relationship. The influencer believes she lived in a regime of fear and was subjected to violent acts, which Høiby denies.
Høiby denied ever seeing the fear Haukland described. Assistant lawyer Heidi Reisvang read out derogatory messages from Høiby to Haukland, including 'shut up you fucking cunt'. Høiby said this was written in affect and that they often screamed back and forth, calling it an ugly but two-way communication.
Høiby admitted he could be jealous and heavy-handed, saying he 'probably on some occasions has slapped her' and has screamed in her face on several occasions, with her doing the same. He also admitted grabbing and screaming at her in the presence of others. Høiby's defenders presented messages between them without signs of abuse.
Høiby said his wish to work as a motorcycle mechanic was not fine enough for Haukland. On Thursday, Høiby said he received information that Haukland had a Netflix agreement for 4 million kroner, which her manager denies. Høiby is also charged with raping a girl he previously had voluntary sex with, thinking she wanted it since there were no objections.
