The Chicken Roll is described as seasoned chicken wrapped in layers of crisp, golden, glazed puff pastry. According to a Greggs spokeswoman, the company believes the best things come in threes and sees the Chicken Roll as the ultimate headline act of its flaky franchise. Greggs will host a special event on Wednesday, April 8, in London to celebrate the completion of the 'trilogy'.

The event will be at 15 Bateman Street in Soho, featuring Chicken Rolls, chicken-themed cocktails or mocktails, and retro 90s decor, running from 3:30 pm to 9 pm with 20-minute slots available for booking. Guests must arrive as part of a trio of friends or family to attend the event. Separately, Greggs introduced a Hot Breakfast Wrap last week, filled with sausage, sweet-cured bacon, mature cheddar cheese, cheesy omelette, bechamel sauce, Heinz ketchup, and a crispy hash brown.
