A green-yellow bus has appeared in Ultra's public transport in Umeå, Sweden. The bus was borrowed to address a vehicle shortage. Harriet Söder, CEO of Länstrafiken i Västerbotten, said every vehicle obtained helps avoid traffic cancellations.

Some call it the 'Björklövenbussen'. The bus was borrowed from another traffic area to maintain local transport in Umeå. In June, the public transport company Nobina will take over the traffic, and before that, all green articulated buses will be inspected and in some cases repainted.

To reduce the risk of vehicle shortage, the bus was taken from another part of Sweden and given dispensation to operate, even though all buses should follow the correct design. The 'Björklövenbussen' can be seen rolling on Umeå's streets until May 3, when Ultra switches to a summer schedule and fewer buses are needed.
