The reindeer herding district Voengel Njaarke identified a bear on Dunfjellet, in the middle of their calving land, according to Torgar Eggen, agriculture and reindeer husbandry manager in Grane municipality. A dead reindeer calf was found on Thursday evening, and tracks at the site indicated it was killed by a bear, Eggen said.
