Google has begun distributing Android 17 Beta 2 to testers, as reported by Swedroid. The update includes 16 specific bug fixes and introduces a collection of new developer features behind the scenes. User-facing additions include a new type of 'bubbles' on large screens, created by long-pressing icons in Pixel Launcher, designed to improve multitasking by switching between apps.
Privacy is enhanced with the ability to grant apps access to a single contact instead of all contacts. The stable version of Android 17 is planned for release in June.
