Google has announced two new features for the PC version of Chrome: vertical tabs and a new reading mode that displays only text. Vertical tabs can be activated from a pop-up menu by right-clicking on the tab bar, showing all tabs in a vertical list on the left side of the browser instead of at the top. The list is designed to be narrow to save space but can be expanded.

The reading mode has also been updated to display in full screen. 76, and no new update is available for download.
