GIF Sundsvall is reportedly looking to sign a striker, with the search extending to France. According to Sundsvalls Tidning, the club's sporting director Joel Cedergren has been in France to scout an attacker. Cedergren told Sundsvalls Tidning that the club is not only looking in Sweden and is working on two positions: a wingback and a striker.
He added that the process could be completed within a week or might require starting over. GIF Sundsvall finished in 11th place in Superettan last season and lost 0-6 to Sirius in the Swedish Cup. The club recently promoted Kawa Sulaiman to the first team and signed Lucas Forsberg to a new contract.
