GAIS is reportedly working to sign players before the transfer window closes. According to reports, the club had been close to agreeing a deal for midfielder Oscar Johansson Schellhas from Hammarby IF, but Hammarby has decided not to release the 30-year-old in this window. GAIS is now reportedly focusing on other options, including showing interest in Swedish midfielder Robin Dzabic from Sandefjord.
Dzabic, 24, joined Sandefjord from Landskrona BoIS ahead of 2025 and can also play as a winger. He made 21 appearances in the Eliteserien last year, scoring three goals and providing two assists, and started nine of those matches. His contract with Sandefjord runs through the 2027 season.
GAIS finished third in Allsvenskan last year and will qualify for the Conference League this summer. The club has lost some players this winter, including loaning out top scorer Ibrahim Diabaté to Alavés in La Liga. It remains unclear if a transfer for Dzabic will happen.
