GAIS is reportedly close to signing winger Oscar Pettersson from Dutch club Go Ahead Eagles. According to reports from Sportbladet, the parties are close to agreeing on a permanent transfer, though nothing has been finalized yet. GAIS hopes to have the 26-year-old player ready for this weekend's Swedish Cup semifinal against Mjällby AIF.
Pettersson previously played for IF Brommapojkarna and IFK Göteborg before moving to Go Ahead Eagles in early 2025. He has made limited appearances in the Eredivisie, with only five league matches this season, one of which was a start.
