Gais midfielder William Milovanovic was booked for taking off his shirt after scoring against Blåvitt, his fourth yellow card in as many games. The match ended 2-2 after David Kruse equalized for Blåvitt three minutes after Milovanovic's goal.
Milovanovic said he does not regret the yellow card, explaining he wanted to do a 'Balotelli'. "I knew I would get it, so I didn't say anything to the referees. I wanted to do a Mario Balotelli there," he said. He described the booking as a "joy card" and said he would rather take a yellow for a necessary tackle than for talking to referees.
Gais head coach Fredrik Holmberg was not pleased with the decision. "It doesn't matter much what I say to him," Holmberg said. "But this one was unnecessary. He has a yellow per match, but he got so happy that he lost his composure." Holmberg added that the team would not leave it uncommented, though it remains unclear what disciplinary action, if any, will follow.
