However, there has been no confirmation from either Fury or Joshua's camp. Joshua is reportedly planning a warm-up fight in July against an opponent yet to be named. At a recent event, Joshua declined to join Fury in the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to confirm the news.

Fury returned to boxing in April, defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov via unanimous decision. After the fight, Fury revealed he was signed to face Joshua in the future. The exact date, venue, and broadcaster for the November bout remain unconfirmed.
