On Saturday, the 25-year-old jumped 225 meters in Vikersund, Norway, improving her own record set the previous day with a jump of 218 meters. Her performance earned her second place in the competition behind Norway's Eirin Maria Kvindal.

Westman had previously finished fourth at the Olympics in Milan and Cortina. 5 meters in Slovenia in 2007. 5 meters for men and Nika Prevc at 236 meters for women.
