Karlsson's victory is reportedly her fifteenth career World Cup win. Svahn finished second, and American Jessie Diggins came in third. Other Swedish skiers included Moa Ilar in sixth, Jonna Sundling in seventh, Maja Dahlqvist in eighteenth, and Moa Lundgren in twentieth.
During the race, Karlsson reportedly nearly fell in a curve but managed to stay on her feet. The event followed a previous day's sprint where Sundling reportedly won ahead of Svahn.
