Swedish cross-country skier Frida Karlsson has opened up about possibly continuing her career beyond the 2027 World Championships in Falun. She previously stated she would retire after next season but is now reconsidering. Karlsson, who won three medals including two golds at the Olympics in Italy, made the comments ahead of the World Cup finals in Lake Placid, USA.
According to reports, she described the decision as a renegotiation with herself, driven by her love for the sport rather than external pressures. She emphasized that if she continues, it will be out of genuine passion for cross-country skiing.
