At least four young children were killed in a brutal machete attack at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program preschool in Makindye, Kampala, according to police spokesperson Racheal Kawaala. The victims were reportedly between two and three years old. Police confirmed that a male suspect gained access to the preschool by pretending to be a parent, according to the Daily Monitor newspaper.

After visiting the principal's office, the suspect allegedly locked the facility and began attacking children with a machete. The suspect has been arrested and police are investigating the motive for the attack. The incident occurred at the early childhood development center in Uganda's capital city.
